D7: Can you put a number on it? Increasing Impact and incomes with PUE

The session, co-hosted by Acumen and 60 Decibels, will explore the impact of Productive Use of Renewable Energy (PURE) on income generation for low-income communities. PURE firms are helping to boost incomes, with remarkable stories of impact. However, there is a pressing need for more effective and efficient ways to measure these changes. Acumen and 60 Decibels will present insights from their longitudinal studies on PURE and livelihood-improving companies, offering a preview of a report to be published in October. The session will feature entrepreneurs, PURE funders, and capacity builders, and will encourage funders and companies to reflect on key metrics and improve measurement practices in the sector.
