Solar irrigation can provide a cost-effective and sustainable way to increase food production and improve agricultural livelihoods. However, the success of solar irrigation is dependent on the ecosystem that surrounds the technology such as complementary inputs related to agriculture, water and financing. This session will explore the ways that multi-sectoral approaches can address barriers to the adoption of solar irrigation, and how systemic change can result in a rapid acceleration of scale and impact.
