A2: Empowering Public Institutions: Lessons on Sustainable, Long-Term Electrification Strategies

The session will provide an overview of World Bank-implemented projects that leverage private sector participation for long-term, sustainable electrification of schools and health centers. The session will include representatives from client countries and implementing agencies, who will share their experience with challenges and lessons learned from previous approaches, and to how private sector-led models such as energy-as-a-service will address them.
